The Psychodrama a Revealer of the Stress.

What is PsychoDrama? Does it really help us to reveal what we feel about? With whom we can use it?

Psycho Drama is a form of Psychology in which patients act out events from their past. 

The Psycho Drama is a form of therapy that some of the therapists,social workers, educators  in Lebanon are being trained on to use it in their therapies, I did it and now I am a Trainer in Psycho Drama, and it really helps a lot. 

This domain will help you in your personal life and in your professional life.

In your personal Life:  whenever you are participating in such a training, then that means that no matter how much you try  to not talk or reveal what happened or is happening in your life, if you don't wanna talk, at least you are going to be able to analyze it, because you are working in a group that in a way or another will help you, even if you refuse a help from others.

And whenever you choose to talk or reflect about what is happening with you, you will feel much released, a sum of emotions will come to your mind, you will want to cry, express your anger, express your happiness.... and this will help you more & more, you won't regret it, you will feel less pressure than when you are talking to one person, and the thing that will help you the most is that the ones that you are expressing your emotions in front of, passed in some conditions that are similar to yours, understand you, know what you are thinking about, and the most important thing is that there's a confidentiality between the group members that are doing Psycho Drama. 

In your professional Life: The Psycho Drama will help you more in your professional life, it will let you feel and work in peace, it will make you understand more the ones that are around you, may be get closer to them, and to give from all of your heart in your work, and use the ways that you learned about in Psycho Drama with the beneficiaries that you are dealing with and especially if they are kids.

 In the Psycho Drama, whenever you reveal everything, you are now empty and ready to fill back your life with other ways may be, with more positive people around you, with a life style that will let you learn how to reveal your stress, how to make an easy life and you learn how to support others, and be more empathetic with them. 

Are the maids taking the role of the mothers?

In our days, in most of the families that are wealthy, or where both the mother and father work, we see that there's a person that is added to the family which is " THE MAID".

The Maid, is a person that the family get her to help the family and especially the mother  in house managing and in having a better situation in the house and with the kids.
But nowadays, in many of the families that are having Maids in their homes, we are seeing that maids are taking the role of the mothers beside their roles in the house, and that's because of:
-  The long hours of  work of the mother.
- The worker mother doesn't have the opportunity to know what happened with the kid all the day especially that she comes home tired, wants to deal with many things and have lots of tasks to accomplish.
-  Some of the mothers that don't work, also have maids in their homes, and those maids not only take care of the house, but also of the kid or new born.

Actually, this is too bad, because:
-  The kids will be too attached to the maids more than their moms.
- The moms if they want to let the maids go back to their countries and don't renew for them, then this will let the kid do a crisis that will affect his life badly.
- The moms won't be able to know lots of information about their kids like the maids that are staying with them all days.

- Are they really taking the roles of the mothers?
- What ca we do to solve the problems?
- How are we going to help the mothers, kids & the maids?
- How is this affecting their lives?
- Will it continue to be like this or will it get worst?
- Can we find a solution for this issue?

My role as a Social Worker with Juveniles.

The job of Social Worker, is somehow new in Lebanon, many of people when i talk to them about my major, don't know what is Social Work & I have to introduce them to this major, so they know about it, they know where to work, what is it about our work.

The Social Work is a very known major in the Western & European world, where the Social Worker have a very known & important role, and almost everybody wherever you are in someway or another meet her, to help beneficiaries in thinking, and in enhancing a better life. 

As for the role of the Social Worker in Lebanon, it became known, 10 years ago, as there's some faculties that are teaching this major (like Lebanese University, USJ, LAU, AUB) also the INGO's that are now working with the refugees requires the presence of the Social Worker so the work be better and to make sure the beneficiaries are having the best solution for their lives and sufferings. 

The Juveniles that I am working with, are the kids that are under 18 years old, that commit a crime. 

Here my role is very important with them, because:

-  I should be available whenever they are investigated about the crime they did, to protect them, to make sure they are not being hit by the detectives to tell about their crimes, to let them feel safe, 

- After opening the file, depending on the case and the requirements of the judge, either I should do a home visit, or make sure he works for several hours in a public place to serve the community, or focus on his studies and make sure he isn't doing anything that may harm him. 

- After a while (depending on the case), I should do an evaluation to his performance.

- Depending on his behavior and the reports that I "as a social worker that her aim is to provide the Child Protection from any harm", present them to the judge, together with the judge can decide what are the next step that is important to be done to the juvenile's life.
- Whenever the Juvenile's actions are better (by the opinion of the social worker, family, judge....)  then we do an evaluation to him and close the file whenever we finish dealing with him, and see that his behaviors are suitable for a good person and community and our goals are met.
